☁️ Marshmallow Laptop Sleeve PDF Sewing Pattern

The Marshmallow Laptop Sleeve is a beginner-friendly pattern designed to create a puffy tech pouch. The design features vertical quilted channels, a curved flap finished with bias binding, and a hook-and-loop closure.
The pattern includes two sizes (14" and 16") and two orientations (Portrait and Landscape). The 14" size fits 13" and 14" laptops, while the 16" size fits 15" and 16" laptops. The portrait view offers a vertical top-loading style, and the landscape view opens along the wide edge like an envelope.

This pattern is ideal for beginner sewists.
Things you need:
• Main Fabric
• Lining Fabric
• Batting: Fairfield Poly-Fil Extra-Loft Quilt Batting is recommended for a plush, puffy look. You can also use cotton batting, fleece, or recycled padding. Keep in mind that thicker batting gives extra puff and structure, while thinner padding provides less cushion and protection for your laptop.
• Hook and Loop Strip (1.5" wide × 1" long): If you prefer a different closure, you can substitute ribbon ties, a button with a loop, or a magnetic snap.
• Bias Tape: Store-bought double-fold bias tape or handmade bias binding cut at 4 cm wide unfolded (approx. 1 cm finished double-fold width).
Approximate Finished Measurements:
• 14" Portrait: 10" W × 14" L (Fits 13"–14" laptops)
• 14" Landscape: 13.5" W × 9.25" L (Fits 13"–14" laptops)
• 16" Portrait: 11.25" W × 15.5" L (Fits 15"–16" laptops)
• 16" Landscape: 15" W × 11" L (Fits 15"–16" laptops)
