For the main fabric, I used cotton canvas with 100% cotton for the lining, but any mid-weight, sturdy fabric works well. To maintain the bag’s structure, I recommend using medium-weight interfacing. In this tutorial, we’ll use cotton webbing for the handles—it’s quick and easy to work with. For that perfect cherry look, choose red for the main fabric and green for the leaves and webbing.
